How to access:
By car
Approach Göttingen on the Autobahn A7. Leave the Autobahn at the exit "Göttingen Nord" and proceed on the federal road B 27.
After about 1 km, turn right towards "Universitäts-Klinikum".
The Institute is located 800 m ahead, directly across the street from the university hospital (Klinikum). You will need to turn right at the second set of traffic lights.
By plane / train
From Frankfurt Airport
Take the ICE train directly to Göttingen from the Long Distance Train Station (Frankfurt(M) Flughafen). Alternatively, take a local train (S-Bahn) to Frankfurt am Main Central Station (Frankfurt Hbf), and then change to an ICE train to Göttingen.
From Hannover Airport
Take a local train (S-Bahn) to Hannover Central Station (Hannover Hbf) and then take an ICE-train to Göttingen.
In Göttingen
On arrival in Göttingen, the best way to reach the Max Planck Institute's City Campus is by taxi (10 minutes).
Alternatively, you can take Bus lines 21, 22, 23, 41, or 42 to Robert-Koch-Straße.
